Vienna Airport: TAP Portugal has landed in Vienna

 

Yesterday, on 27 May 2011, TAP Portugal resumed flights to Vienna Airport. At a symbolic ribbon cutting ceremony, Friedrich Lehr, Head of Operations for Flughafen Wien AG, Luiz Mor, Executive Vice President TAP Portugal, Bernardo Trindade, Portuguese State Secretary for Tourism and Frank Zehle, General Manager of TAP Portugal for Austria and Germany, celebrated the return of this Portuguese carrier and the start of this new direct connection between Vienna and Lisbon.

 

Five times each week from Vienna to Lisbon

TAP Portugal now operates five weekly flights on the Vienna ? Lisbon ? Vienna route.

Flights are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The Airbus A319 departs from Lisbon on Monday, Thursday and Friday at 1.25 pm and arrives in Vienna at 5.50 pm. The return flight leaves for Lisbon at 6.35 pm.

 

On Wednesday and Sunday the Portuguese carrier departs from Lisbon at 9.00 am and arrives in Vienna at 1.25 pm. TAP Portugal departs for Lisbon on the return flight at 2.10 pm.

 

74 destinations worldwide

The TAP Portugal flight schedule comprises 74 destinations throughout the world. The airline offers numerous attractive connections through its hub in Lisbon, above all to South America and the African continent. In 2010 TAP Portugal carried a total of 9,087,000 passengers.
