Willem Hondius, general manager of transavia.com, said: "We are very pleased to have Vienna as one of six new destinations in our summer schedule. It is part of our strategy to include more attractive cities as destinations amongst our holiday and winter sports destinations, as we see a growing market here. We are flying to Vienna from Rotterdam Den Haag Airport to increase the number of destinations reachable from regional Dutch airports. Transavia.com will offer the route at fair, attractive prices and with the service for which our clients value us."

The company transavia.com looks back on a forty-year history. A member of the Air France KLM Group, transavia.com has its headquarters at Amsterdam´s Schiphol Airport. Every year more than five million passengers fly with the Dutch carrier to a total of 90 destinations in Europe and North Africa.
