Flughafen Wien AG on rumours concerning changes on the Management Board
In its scheduled meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Flughafen Wien AG approved the financial statements for 2009 and also dealt with the rumours concerning the departure of Herbert Kaufmann from the Management Board of the company.
It is hereby confirmed that Herbert Kaufmann and the entire Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG have the full confidence of the Supervisory Board. “The future challenges in the aviation branch ? such as changes on the aviation market, further measures to strengthen the competitive position of Vienna International Airport as a hub and the completion of the terminal extension VIE-Skylink ? require a stable management team and can best be mastered with the Management Board comprising Herbert Kaufmann, Ernest Gabmann and Gerhard Schmid, with Herbert Kaufmann as speaker of this board“, stated Christoph Herbst, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
