As of 1 February 2010, Robert Dusek (63) will take over the Corporate Communications Department at Flughafen Wien AG from the previous manager Michael Kochwalter. Robert Dusek will exercise this function on an interim basis up to the approval of his appointment by the Supervisory Board. Robert Dusek previously served as deputy head of Corporate Communications.
Michael Kochwalter is leaving to pursue new opportunities in the private sector. Herbert Kaufmann, speaker of the Management Board, commented, "I regret Michael Kochwalters decision to leave the company, but understand his interest in pursuing this interesting challenge. I wish him a great deal of success in the future. With Robert Dusek, an experienced Flughafen Wien AG manager will take over our Corporate Communications."
Robert Dusek has worked at Flughafen Wien AG for 21 years and, in addition to his function as deputy head of Corporate Communications, was also responsible for investor relations.
Corporate Communications comprise the press office and communications with neighbouring residents, internal communications, advertising/marketing, investor relations and compliance as well as typography and the printing centre.
