Flughafen Wien AG confirms verbal information by theAustrian Federal Audit Office today concerning its intention to carry out an audit. Herbert Kaufmann, Member and Speaker of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG commented: “We are not afraid of an audit, but there must be a legal basis for this step. It is legally not possible for us to voluntarily agree to an audit. After today’s announcement, we will await the written communication of the arguments by the Federal Audit Office. We will then evaluate these arguments and, after our analysis has been completed, provide information during the coming week on further procedures.“
