Bringing someone by car to Vienna Airport

1) How to get to the airport

2) The right car park (departures level)

Ascertain if possible before setting off for the airport which check-in the person you are bringing needs to go to. The Check-in Finder will help you in this regard.


For Terminal 1 and 1A (coordinates N 48º07'18", E 16º33'39")
The short-term car park K1 (€4.70/hour) is at the departures level and is therefore ideal for bringing passengers to Terminal 1 and 1A.

For Terminal 3
Multi-storey car park 4 (€4.50/hour) is ideal for bringing passengers to Terminal 3. The entrance is on the left opposite Terminal 3.

Access to multi-storey car park 4

There are lifts in multi-storey car park 4 to take you to level 3 and from there via a bridge to Terminal 3. In bad weather there is a covered passenger tunnel via level -1.

Keep your ticket

You will be issued a ticket at the entrance barrier to the car park. Please keep this in a safe place until you leave. The prices for use of the car parks can be found in our car park price list. Payment is made at the machines in the car parks, at the ticket desk in multi-storey car park 4 (open 24 hours a day) or directly at the exit barrier by credit card (American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, Visa), Austrian debit card (Bankomat) or parking card.

3) Waiting landside before the flight

You can spend the time together while waiting for the flight in one of the cafés or restaurants. You can also take the opportunity of shopping in the supermarket, drugstore or newspaper and bookshop in the airport. If you have any questions our staff at the Airport Information counters in  Terminal 1 and  Terminal 3 would be glad to assist. If you have enough time, you can go to the Visitors Terrace for an excellent view of the apron. You might even be able to watch the take-off of the plane your loved-one is on. The terrace is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from 15 March to 15 November and is accessible by lift from level 3 in Terminal 3.

2) The right car park (drop-off area on the departures level)

Use the drop-off zone for disabled persons in front of the terminal areas. There are three parking spaces in front of Terminal 1 / 1A / 2 and another three in front of Terminal 3.

Please go to the Mobility Service counter in Terminal 3 or ask at your airline’s check-in counter.
