One of the greatest advantages of Vienna Airport is its ONE-ROOF concept, which makes for short distances. The terminal belongs to and is operated by Flughafen Wien AG. The arrivals terminal is on the ground floor and the departures and transit terminal on the first floor. It has two pier fingers, East Pier and West Pier. All pier and bus gates are a short distance on foot from the central terminal area. The short distances save time not only for transit passengers but also for all departing and arriving passengers.

Passenger check-in

Vienna Airport operates a common check-in principle with dedicated check-in possible if enough counters are available in the desired time period. All 111 check-in counters have SITA/CUTE NT+. A further ten check-in counters are available at the city check-in at Wien-Mitte City Air Terminal, offering the functionality of an international airport in the city centre.
