Flughafen Wien AG: no motions filed for recall of the Management Board
In response to a report by FORMAT - which indicates that a motion was filed at yesterdays meeting of the Supervisory
Board to recall all three members of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG -- the Chairman of the Supervisory
Board, Christoph Herbst, indicates that this claim is incorrect and states that no such motion was filed.
In yesterdays meeting the Supervisory Board dealt at length with the draft report of the Austrian Federal Accounting
Office and the included accusations and received a comprehensive and detailed report from the Management Board. After extensive
discussions, the Supervisory Board believes a number of questions that are necessary for a final assessment of this report
still remain unanswered. Only after clarification will it be possible to make a final evaluation of the report by the
Austrian Federal Accounting Office and to decide on any necessary consequences
In addition to the draft report by the Austrian Federal Accounting Office, the agenda for this meeting included other issues.
One of the more important focused on results for the third quarter of 2010, which will be announced tomorrow. Severance compensation
related to possible changes on the Management Board was not discussed, against rumours to the contrary.
